What materials do Cotton & Co use?
Silver
From the 1st of January 2019 all our silver pieces are made with recycled Australian silver, we personally oversee the sourcing and refining before it goes to production to create our Sterling Silver pieces.
Gold
Gold is one of the world’s most valuable and sought after precious metals. We use a variety of gold mixes from 9ct (37.5% pure) to 18ct (75% pure) in a range of colours. These colours are created by mixed in other metals, for example additional copper is added to create rose gold.
Platinum & Palladium
Being some of the world's rarest precious metals they are not as often seen in jewellery not just because of their rarity but also because of the extreme temperatures required to work with them. But they have some amazing qualities including durability and low allergy rate.
